“The Federal Indian Hospitals Settlement is hosting free, in-person Claimant Support Sessions in Edmonton from August 18-22, 2026, at the Royal Hotel West Edmonton (10010 178 Street NW). Claims Helpers, who are trained in trauma-informed and culturally grounded practices, will be available to provide information about the Claims Process and offer one-on-one support with completing Claim Forms.
A Group Information Session will be held on August 18 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by one-on-one support sessions. Registration is encouraged but not required, and appointments are optional.
One-on-one support can include assistance with understanding the Claim Form, identification requirements, correspondence from the Claims Administrator, and available wellness and cultural supports.
