Job Purpose
Supervise and direct the bus drivers for off reserve school bus routes.Education, Experience and Requirements
• Must have worked in a similar capacity in the past
• Computer literate
• Must have a clean criminal record
• Must have and provide a clean driver’s abstract
• Must have a valid Alberta driver’s license (class 1 or 2 as well as S endorsement)
• Must be certified in First Aid
• Conflict resolution and mediation skills
• Ability to deal with staff and clientele in a professional manner.
• Knowledge of the HR policies and procedures
• Preferably completion of grade 12 or equivalent (G.E.D)
• Ability to work quickly and accurately with figures
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Strong decision-making skills
Working Conditions
• Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM (with a one-hour paid lunch break); flexibility to work evenings/weekends as needed.
• Primary location: Enoch Cree Nation.
• Must be physically fit; walk, climb stairs, crouch, bend, crawl, stand for long periods of time or sit for long periods of time, ability to lift 50lbs. or more materials and/or equipment, etc.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required.
• Must sign and adhere to the Enoch Cree Nation Confidentiality Agreement upon hire.
