Job Purpose
The Human Resource Manager is responsible for leading HR programs, services, strategies, and initiatives for the RCVLP's group of companies, working directly with management. In addition, the HR Manager will ensure efficiency in managing the HR function of the organization while overseeing the day- to-day functions of HR, ensuring employees have HR resources, labour laws, policies, procedures, and governance.Education, Experience and Requirements
• Minimum of 3-5 years of management experience in Human Resources.
• Post Secondary Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Human Resources.
• Additional Human Resource training or certifications would be an asset.
• Experience working for a First Nation or First Nation organization would be an asset.
• Provide a clear criminal record check/intervention record check.
• Valid drivers license.
• Must be bondable.
• Indigenous heritage and fluency in both English and Cree would be an asset.
• Knowledge of the Enoch Cree Nation would be an asset.
• Up-to-date cover letter and resume.
Working Conditions
Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. in standard office conditions. May be required to work extended hours from time to time to meet deadlines.
