Job Purpose
This position is assigned to internally support and provide coordination of the Lands and Oil & Gas for the Enoch Cree Nation and to ensure that we maintain the integrity of the Nation and exercise the greatest possible control over our Reserve Lands and their Resources. Under the guidance and authority of the Lands Manager and the Lands Coordinator Level ll, the Lands Coordinator Level l is responsible for the execution, monitoring and reporting of all Transactions affecting the Enoch Cree Nation.Education, Experience and Requirements
•Have a clear Criminal Record Check.
•Sign the Confidentiality Agreement during Orientation.
•Excellent oral and written communication skills.
•Knowledge and experience in computers.
•Knowledge of the Indian Lands Registry System.
•Knowledge of Lands (individual and collective interests).
•High level of professionalism and administrative competency.
•Excellent time and project management skills.
•Excellent organization and interpersonal skills.
•Ability to multi-task.
•Must be self-motivated.
•Must be able to work effectively and efficiently both independently and as a part of a team.
•Willingness to travel for meetings and training.
•High School Diploma or equivalent.
•Successful completion of the Land Management Certificate or similar courses in an accredited program.
•Must possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License (Class 5) and vehicle.
•Minimum 5 years’ experience in Land Management or related field.
•Combination of education and experience may be considered.
Working Conditions
Required to work from Monday to Friday 8:30pm – 4:30pm at Enoch Cree Nation Planning and Development Building, while adhering to the Enoch Cree Nation Human Resources Policy & Procedure Manual. Some travel and overtime may be required.
