Legal Administrative Writer – *CLOSED INTERNAL*

Job Purpose

Reporting to the Legal and Claims Department Manager, the Administrative Writer position offers administrative, filing, writing, and editing support to the department. This is a role that requires both independent working skills and strong interpersonal skills. This role will be required to sign a confidentiality agreement and to strictly uphold that agreement.

Education, Experience and Requirements

• Proficient with computers and knowledgeable of software programs such as the Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Reader. Further knowledge of computers and computer programs is an asset.
• Proficient with communication programs such as Zoom and Microsoft Outlook.
• Exhibits strong writing and editing skills, able to build and work within style guides and publishing standards.
• Exemplifies strong, interpersonal, organizational, and task completion skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Able to multi-task.
• Able to work both alone and as part of a team.
• Holds a degree from a post-secondary institution.
• Experienced writer and editor.
• Previous office work experience is considered an asset.
• Have a clear Criminal Record Check and Child Intervention Check.
• Required to sign the Confidentiality Agreement during Orientation.

Working Conditions

Required to work a total of 40 hours a week, at the Enoch Cree Nation Administration Building Department, while adhering to the Enoch Cree Nation Human Resources Policy & Procedure Manual.
