Job Purpose

Enoch Cree Nation is building a Recovery Community, consisting of a $30 million dollar treatment facility and a comprehensive, end-to-end continuum of Indigenous addiction and mental health services rooted in culture, spirituality, and ceremony. The Aftercare Manager will play an integral role in this innovative continuum of services, supporting implementation of it’s strategic and operational plan. The Aftercare Manager is responsible for the administrative and clinical leadership of the Wellness Branch Aftercare Program. This position will be involved in the coordination, maintenance and scale-up of an evidenced based, culture and trauma informed aftercare program. The Aftercare Manager will be committed to ongoing professional development and will participate in education and training opportunities, while supporting professional development goals of staff.

Education, Experience and Requirements

•A bachelor’s degree in clinical social work, psychology, occupational therapy, or a related healthprofessional qualification with a specialization in mental health.
•At least 5 (five) years of experience in leadership, including leading clinical teams, supportingprofessional development, and providing clinical supervision.
•Knowledge and experience in working with diverse communities.
•Bilingual ability (Cree and English an asset).
•Evidence of ongoing professional development
•Experience will be considered in place of education
•Must have a valid class 5 driver’s license and reliable transportation.
•Will maintain and have current First Aid/CPR
•Position role model who maintains a drug & alcohol dependence-free lifestyle
•Satisfactory Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check
•Training in Naloxone Administration/ Seizure Protocol

Working Conditions

The Aftercare Manager will work in an office environment and is required to work 8:30am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday. May be required to work evenings and weekends, travel may be required. While adhering to the Enoch Cree Nation Human Resources Policy & Procedure Manual.
